Fly Mobiles is making its phones more and more relevant to buyers by using up-to-date features. A talk on Qwerty phones will be partial without Fly B450, if one has a thin budget and tall requirements. Available in two colours?black and white?Fly B450, is a Qwerty phone with dual SIM, 3D sound effects and loads of networking options.
A lot of Qwerty phones resemble BlackBerry as far as looks are concerned. B450 is no exception to this tendency. However, its lightness is a positive worth mentioning. Once you switch on the phone, the display comes to life with vibrant colour and multiple tools and shortcuts, giving an insight into the many aspects of B450. Apart from a full Qwerty keypad, it has a high precision optical trackpad with a VGA front camera above the screen. Its back panel has a 3.2 MP camera, speaker and a lid which covers a battery, dual SIM slots and a micro SD slot. A 3.5 mm audio jack with mini USB port graces the right frame.
B450 has a model keypad with well demarcated keys, which also work as shortcuts. For instance +- are also volume keys and space is the screen lock/unlock key and # puts the phone on silent mode. Typing is swift and an enjoyable experience. Display works well in tandem with the keys and shows six most desired icons on the screen.
Fly B450 has a 3.2 MP camera on the back panel and a VGA on the front. VGA is blurry even at its best settings. The 3.2 MP back camera is as meek as its counterpart despite various camera options like exposure control, maximum picture resolution of 2048 x1536, white balance, 3x digital zoom, anti-flickr, etc. In fact a 2 MP camera from some leading brand gives better quality output. There is a video recorder too, but with nothing noteworthy. To switch between the front and back camera, select sensor switch in camera options menu.
Besides being a dual SIM phone, B450, is a connectivity rich phone with mini USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth and GPRS in addition to Snaptu, Opera mini, Nimbuzz, Google, Skype, Facebook, Twitter, Java, Yahoo etc. On connection with a PC, you can use it as a webcam.
For entertainment, Fly B450 has FM, MP3, video player, and recorder. All this would have been just a routine affair, had it not been for the brilliant 3D surround sound option in it, which gives it superior sound quality, making music and video playback highly agreeable. Surprisingly, Fly doesn?t mention 3D on the pack. Battery back-up and memory are well provided for with 1000mAh battery and 8 GB expandable micro SD card respectively.
Fly B450 is priced at 4.3k, a price around which you have a number of good options like Micromax Q5fb, Samsung Corby Text and Karbonn K25. The device is packed along with USB cable, charger, manual, warranty card and headphone.
