CII to take young achievers on China tour

Young Indians (Yi), the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)s group of young Indian achievers and professionals below the age of 40 is venturing on its first international mission on November 14-19.

The 12-member Yi delegation will visit Beijing, Shenzhen and Shanghai.Yi focuses on motivating a generational change in the economic and social agenda of India. This mission will try to initiate a relationship with business organisations in China, similar to Yi.

The mission would also seek to facilitate business-to-business contact between young CEOs and entrepreneurs of both countries, and to facilitate exchange of visits between groups from Chinese organisations and Yi.The mission would also look to forge ties for further enhancing and strengthening the business, political, cultural and economic bonds between both the countries.

The delegation will have meetings with the China council for promotion of international trade (CCPIT), China young entrepreneurs association, Shenzhen municipal peoples government and the consul general of India.The delegation will also visit various industrial parks and special economic zones, have select one-to-one business meetings with a few companies and also visit Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Company and Shanghai port.
