CII, LSE to organise CEO meet

Keen on increasing the India-UK bilateral trade to $40 billion in the next five years, industry body CII and London School of Economics are jointly organising a CEO's Forum.

The meet, titled CII-LSE CEOs Forum, is slated for June 28-29 in London.

The mission is expected to provide an impetus to India- UK bilateral trade and investment ties and realise the envisaged goals of increasing bilateral trade to $40 billion and bilateral trade in services to $20 billion by year 2015, CII said in a statement.

Commerce & industry Minister Anand Sharma would also be addressing the meeting. CII president Hari Bhartia is leading the delegation of corporate heads, including Hero Corporate Services chairman Sunil Kant Munjal, Fortis Healthcare Group chairman Malvinder Mohan Singh, Ashok Leyland CEO Dhiraj Hinduja and Dabur India chairman Anand C Burman, among others.
