Cerebra Enters Healthcare Delivery Systems Space

City-based Cerebra Integrated Technologies, has announced its foray into the healthcare delivery systems space. It has launched the Ceremed+ brand of healthcare software solutions. The company has invested Rs 2 crore in the healthcare solutions domain.

Addressing the media at the launch, Cerebra Integrated Technologies chairman and managing director V Ranganathan said, “We are looking at offering the healthcare industry affordable software products to create a formidable base for future integration of healthcare delivery systems with IT practices.” “The healthcare solutions domain will be transformed into a strategic business unit soon,” Mr Ranganathan said.

Cerebra’s healthcare focus includes networking all remote and rural hospitals with specialty hospitals using its technology and domain expertise. The company is planning to carry out the project simultaneously in four states — Karnataka, Maharashtra, West Bengal and Bihar, said Cerebra vice-president RS Rajan.

The company also planned an additional investment of Rs 1 crore to make the solutions avail-able in 15 Indian languages to ensure the localisation of the solutions, Mr Rajan said.
