Bharatiya Samruddhi Finance Limited (BSFL), the micro finance arm of BASIX group has bagged a contract of managing 829 common service centers from the Punjab government. The company will manage these CSCs in seven districts of three zones Jalandhar, Kapurthala in zone one; Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib in zone two and Patiala, Rupnagar and Mohali in zone three. Talking to FE, Anoop Kaul, national head, Bharatiya Samruddhi Finance said,
We have already established over 1,500 common service centers in three state. A total of 2,873 CSCs have been assigned to us. In Punjab, 829 CSCs will be set up within a year and each outlet will cost Rs 70,000 as set up cost with around Rs 11,000 as running expenditure per month.
