BSE To Suspend Trading In 44 Scrips From Oct 1

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has decided to suspend trading in 44 scrips including Mafatlal Industries and Vadilal Industries Ltd from October 1, until further notice, for failing to submit results for the quarters ending June, September and December 2001.

These companies were issued showcause notices and reminders but had failed to comply with Clause 41 of the listing agreement, BSE said.

Some of the other companies facing suspension are Arihant Threads and Garware Synthetics Ltd.
