The BSE metal index has out-performed the broader BSE Sensex by a huge margin in the last one month. While the index has given almost 15% return, the Sensex has given only 8.53% return during same period.
The metal index, which has gained 1,560.02 points or 14.52% in the last one month, on Monday, closed at 12,211.10 points, gaining 93.90 points or up 0.77%. The index broke the resistance of 11,402 points last week with high volumes.
Market experts feel that now the short term target of this breakout will come at 13,890 points, which is 15% appreciation from the current levels and the long term target at 16,379 points, which is an appreciation of 35% from current levels.
