BSE Changes Free Float Factor In 5 Cos

The Stock Exchange, Mumbai (BSE) has reduced the free-float factor in four companies Reliance Energy, HDFC Bank, Tata Motors and Hindalco by 0.05 points and increased in Gujarat Ambuja Cements by 0.05 points to 0.75 points from 0.70 points. The changes in the free-float factor will come into effect from August 9, 2004. BSE reviews the free-float factor of the Sensex constituents on a quarterly basis. The free float factor in Reliance Energy has come down to 0.50 points from 0.55 points, HDFC Bank down to 0.75 points from 0.80 points, Tata Motors down to 0.60 points to 0.65 points and Hindalco down to 0.75 points from 0.80 points.
