British Law Firms Keen On India

Buoyed by the burgeoning Indian economy and its independent judicial system, a number of leading British law firms have shown interest in establishing practice in India, says former additional solicitor general and MP Ashwani Kumar.

I have met a large number of solicitors from leading British law firms, including Clifford Chance, McKennes etc who are keen to establish a legal practice in India and are concerned with opening up of the services sector in pursuant of WTO accords, he said on Friday night.
