Benq has 27 service partners at the front-end to handle component level repairs, with three of its own service centers that provide the support for its products and serve as a backbone.
These centers are located in Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore.
The company plans to increase its service partners to 100 and add two more service centers in Chennai and Hyderabad respectively, this year.
Mr Sandeep Nair, managing director of Benq India said, “The redefinition in service network is in keeping with the bouquet of products that we propose to launch in the Indian market that is designed to deliver a digital lifestyle. These lifestyle products include digital cameras, DVD writers, DVD players, and CD Media.”
Mr Nair explains that “the product diversification strategy codenamed ‘www*com’, brings together Web, Wireless, and Wideband (broadband), with computer peripherals and multimedia products.
It represents Benq’s view that a balanced mix of technologies is key to generating continued growth at Benq.”
