While Hrithik Roshan's 'Bang Bang' and and Shahid Kapoor's 'Haider' box office collections may be wilting, they are posing a formidable challenge to new releases 'Tamanchey', 'Ekkees Toppon ki Salaami', 'Jigariyya'.

And over the next few days, the going is not going to get any easier despite it being a weekend.

'Bang Bang' Box Office Collections

Expectations were that new releases would do well since both 'Bang Bang' and 'Haider' were not really making any waves with people not turning up in droves to watch them, as was clear from their box office takes. But that has not happened.

Gauging from their theatre occupancy levels today, all the new releases have not done well. The occupancy rate was well below 10%.

The Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer still remains first choice of the limited number of people heading cinema-wards, while 'Haider' comes in second.
