This tri-weekly service will be available on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and will depart Goa at 15.55 hrs and reach Dubai at 17.40 hrs (local time).
Officials stated that Air India Express, which operates 48 flights per week to Dubai from twelve Indian cities, is on an expansion spree.
The airlines will add 9 more flights from three more Indian cities to Dubai, to be effective from June 2008, to take the number to 57 weekly flights. This, said officials, will be a record for any single destination.
Air India Express, the international budget airlines, which is in its fourth year of operation, will now also have flights to Dubai from Hyderabad, Goa and Pune.
The flights from Hyderabad to Dubai will be introduced from June 5.
Officials stated that this service will be available three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing Hyderabad at 13.20 hrs and reaching Dubai at 15.20 hrs (local time).
The flights from Pune to Dubai are being reintroduced from June 18. They will be leaving Pune at 00.15 hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays to reach Dubai at 01.45 hrs (local time).
With the introduction of these 9 new flights, Air India Express will have 162 weekly flights taking off from 16 Indian cities.
