Adea Solutions, which recently acquired Bangalore-based NetKraft, is now planning to expand its operations in India. The company is investing in new facilities in Bangalore and in Hyderabad. Currently our Hyderabad operations are small, we are planning to add around 200 engineers there by 2005, said president, Adea International, Anand Sudarshan.

In Bangalore too, the company is looking at doubling its headcount and plans to move to a new campus in November this year.

The new campus can accommodate 700 people with provisions for an additional capacity of 500.

Its been 100 days since NetKraft merged with Adea Solutions. The merger process was smooth and name change is in progress, he said.

Mr Saudarshan also said that the company is looking for new clients in the European region, where Netkraft didnt have a strong presence earlier.

Mr Sudarshan said the company is planning to enter the radio frequency identification (RFID) space. RFID is the new emerging space. We are developing a middleware solution for this space, he said.

This middleware is like a business analytical tool. We are expecting our first win in this segment shortly, added Mr Sudarshan.
