A-I, IA To Operate 23 Joint Flights

Indian Airlines and Air-India have entered into an agreement to jointly operate 23 hub-and-spoke flights every week. The flights will operate between Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad primarily, and from Hyderabad, Kochi, Bangalore, Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram, later.

The flights will operate with A-I flight numbers from international terminals and will carry passengers from abroad via A-I hubs of Delhi/Mumbai directly to these points and vice-versa.

The timings of these flights have been coordinated with A-I flights leaving or arriving in Mumbai and Delhi from New York, Chicago, London, Riyadh and Jeddah. Passengers travelling from Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kochi, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai via Mumbai/Delhi to New York, Chicago, London, Jeddah and Riyadh will thus be assured of a seamlessly convenient connection due to the pacr. Of the 23 flights, 17 will begin from Sunday and the rest will from early December.
