Inderpreet Wadhwa, CEO, Azure Power informed here on Friday that the Azure Powers 2-mw solar power plant at Awan, Punjab has been awarded migration to the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Missions grid connected project scheme. He said the company has signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the governments of Gujarat, Punjab, Karnataka and Haryana for the development of grid connected solar power plants.
