Adani Power has formed a new atomic energy unit, AAEL, with an authorised capital of Rs 5,00,000. The unit received its Certificate of Incorporation on February 11, 2026, and can now generate, transmit, and distribute electric power from nuclear energy. This follows the passing of the SHANTI Bill, which allows corporate entry into the atomic power segment.
