The New Jalpaiguri–Siliguri Rail Line Doubling Project is set to improve passenger and freight movement in West Bengal. The Ministry of Railways has recently approved ₹916.18 crore for the project, which will increase capacity, improve connectivity, and reduce congestion on the busy route. The project will also lead to economic growth in the region.
