Bombay High Court has approved a major demolition drive in suburban Mumbai to remove unauthorised structures in Garib Nagar slum near Bandra Station. The drive, led by Western Railways, aims to clear land for the development of the station and improve operational efficiency. The demolition will continue for five days with heavy security, while also protecting the rights of eligible slum dwellers.
