Uttam Sugar Mills

Magome and Tsumago, two well-preserved post towns in Japan, offer a glimpse into the Edo-period history through traditional inns, homes, and cuisine. The 8-km trail connecting them allows visitors to experience the old meeting the new, with a train and bus ride through the Kiso Valley. These towns were once vital rest stops for travellers on the Nakasendo highway.
