Truecaller does not believe that the govt-mandated CNAP service will replace the broader context that consumers look for before answering a call. Their business model, which provides additional context around a number, will still be relevant even with the rollout of CNAP. While CNAP addresses the ownership of the connection, Truecaller will continue to address the caller’s identity and purpose.
