Mercedes-Benz India is releasing the GLC EV, priced at ₹80-85 lakh, as their most affordable locally assembled EV. They anticipate it to make up 50% of GLC sales and appeal to a diverse range of customers, including existing Mercedes owners, mass-market EV owners, and first-time luxury car buyers. The GLC EV also shows a significant decrease in localisation time.
