King-sized Noorjahan mango sells for up to Rs 3,000- A single fruit heavier than papaya
The Noorjahan mango, grown in Katthiwada village, is in high demand due to its rarity, large size, and delicious taste. Priced between Rs 1,500 to Rs 3,000, the variety’s limited availability has led to pre-booking and long wait times. Its Afghan origin and prestigious endorsements contribute to its premium prices. Efforts are underway to preserve and spread this special mango.
