Indian Railways has extended two pairs of special train services connecting Thiruvananthapuram North and Tambaram to Santragachi in eastern India to meet passenger demand. The Southern Railway has confirmed the extension and reservations are now open. The trains will continue to operate on their respective weekly schedules with additional trips during June and July 2026.
