New technology is being implemented in the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project to improve the comfort and reduce noise levels during high-speed journeys. Tunnel hoods will be installed at mountain tunnels to decrease noise and pressure changes, making operations more efficient at speeds over 300 kmph. This is the first time this technology is being used in Indian railway tunnels.
