Burjor Godrej, a second-generation member of the Godrej family, left Germany during World War II with an unfinished PhD thesis on fatty acids and soap chemistry. This led to the creation of Cinthol, one of India’s top consumer brands. Despite facing competition, Cinthol continues to evolve and expand into new categories such as body wash, with a strong focus on growth.
