AAIB has stated that the investigation into the Air India AI-171 accident is still ongoing and no final conclusions have been made. Reports claiming the probe is complete are incorrect. An Italian newspaper has reported that one of the pilots intentionally turned off the fuel switches, but the government has not directly blamed them.
