India has joined the France-led FCAS program for developing a sixth-generation fighter aircraft. The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence has urged the Ministry of Defence to prepare a clear roadmap and timeline for acquisition, while also seeking updates on the indigenous next-generation fighter program.
