Two Indian-origin men, Sampath Rajidi and Sreedhar Mada, have admitted to committing H-1B visa fraud in California. They ran two visa companies and filed false petitions for non-existent jobs at the University of California, using Mada’s position as Chief Information Officer to their advantage. They could face up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
