The Vande Bharat Express between Amritsar and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra has resumed service after a seven-month suspension. The train, which runs five days a week, now has a revised route that includes stops at Batala, Gurdaspur, and Pathankot. This is expected to improve rail connectivity for passengers, especially devotees visiting the shrine.
