The introduction of commodity bourses on an experimental basis in FY25 has led to a rise in sales of farm goods by FPOs. In FY26, over 100 FPOs have sold agricultural commodities worth Rs 700 crore on the NCDEX platform. This has formalized agricultural trade and expanded selling options for farmers beyond traditional mandis.
