Crude, geopolitics weigh on markets; top 10 firms lose over Rs 1 lakh cr in m-cap
Last week, the combined market capitalisation of five of India’s top 10 companies dropped by over Rs 1 lakh crore due to various factors such as high crude oil prices, geopolitical tensions, and mixed global cues. TCS, Reliance, and SBI were the biggest losers, while LIC and Bharti Airtel saw gains. Despite losing over Rs 31,000 crore, Reliance remains the most valued Indian company.
