Chhattisgarh Forest Department launches India’s first hornbill safari in Udanti-Sitanadi Tiger Reserve to protect Malabar Pied Hornbill. Visitors can witness the bird in its natural habitat and spot other species. Safari also trains local youth as birdwatchers and promotes eco-tourism and community conservation. Best time to visit is August to February.
