Bangladesh’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir has expressed a desire to “reset” ties with India after a 15-year relationship that he described as “uncomfortable” under an “authoritarian, corrupt and exploitative” regime. Tensions between the two have been further complicted by issues such as the Ganges Water Sharing Treaty, expiring in December.
