The February CPI inflation increased to 3.21%, with a year-on-year increase of 47 basis points. This is the second reading under the new CPI series with a revised base year of 2024. Rural inflation was 3.37% and urban inflation was 3.02%. Food inflation was 3.47% in February, with a decrease in the prices of tomatoes, peas, and cauliflower. The housing inflation rate for February was 2.12%.
