Former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson announces T20I retirement with immediate effect
Kane Williamson, former New Zealand skipper and strategic advisor for Lucknow Super Giants, has retired from T20I cricket. He will not be playing in the upcoming series against West Indies and will focus on Tests. Williamson has an impressive record and led the team to multiple T20 World Cup successes. Coach Rob Walter praised his leadership and he will continue playing franchise cricket.
