Newly widened ₹70 crore Green City–Madhopur Bandha road in Gorakhpur provides relief to commuters travelling towards Lucknow, Varanasi, Nepal and other districts. The road will reduce traffic in the city and improve movement for residents and heavy vehicles. It also addresses waterlogging issues and is part of a larger plan to strengthen the bypass network.
