Did Hillary Clinton meet Amitabh Bachchan a few years ago? Hillary Clinton is fighting for arguably the most powerful post in the world, and with the US elections not even four days away, she has been mired in an e-mail controversy after a Wikileaks post. Clinton from the Democratic party has had a tough time in the last few months since Wikileaks leaked some of her old emails. Since Wikileaks are known to leak out everything, sorting through them becomes a big task for journalists to find something of value. So when Jose A. DelReal, a political reporter for The Washington Post was going through Clinton’s e-mails found something interesting and went on to post it on Twitter.
In the year, 2011, Hillary Clinton was the Secretary of State when she sent an email to Huma Abedin, her close aide and vice chair woman of her presidential campaign. In that email she asked her, about a ‘famous old Indian actor’. In Abedin’s reply, it can be seen that Clinton was referring to the Indian superstar Amitabh Bacchan. Jose A. DelReal, posted a picture of a leaked Clinton email saying, “Yet another afternoon sifting through Clinton emails, like old times. This is the most interesting one I’ve found yet.”
In the email, it was written, “What’s the name of the famous older Indian actor we met a few years ago?” to which the reply was, “Amitabh bachan”. When Indians on Twitter found this, they went all out to troll Clinton and also the fact that the name was spelled wrong.

Hillary Clinton’s emails were under investigation by the FBI but the probe ended in July and she was found innocent, following which WikiLeaks released some of the emails last month. The US presidential election will take place on November 8.
