With the political war in a race for the President of the United States getting dirtier this year with slut-shaming, vote-shaming, Hillary-shaming comments and views showering in exchange of words, in an attempt to demean each other, the feminist community seems like collapsing.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump had earlier shamed former Miss Universe, Alicia Machado, by commenting on her weight and putting light on an alleged sex-tape of her Even the Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had been shamed by many for standing by her husband Bill Clinton during his several sex scandals.

Hillary had been shamed by many women who claimed the presidential nominee to be a bad feminist and even more when she slut-shamed Monica Lewinsky after the disclosure of her affair with Bill Clinton.

Women of the States had also vote-shamed ordinary women voters for supporting Bernie Sanders over Hillary Clinton. Though women shaming women is a common view in almost every election campaign. Even the women’s rights movement, aiming to secure women’s vote in the first place, charaterize woman-shaming.
