Viral video, cramp video, post workout cramp video, viral videos, viral videos of 2017, how do you get cramps The clip has emerged on the social media and it is virtually guaranteed to horrify you at the very first glimpse and you will be dreading the whole idea of a workout in future. (Youtube)

Suffering a cramp is a very normal thing when you are a regular at the gym or even if you have had a tiresome day after some heavy task, especially if you neglect to hydrate yourself adequately. Everybody wants to avoid them as they can leave the sufferer writhing in agony. There is no doubt that cramps are painful but, last heard, never before has a video or clip been posted on social media that actually shows what is going on during the process of intense pain. A recent video lifts the darkness. The clip has emerged on the social media and it is virtually guaranteed to horrify you at the very first glimpse and you will be dreading the whole idea of a workout in future. Angel Bermudez, from California, US posted his post-workout cramp video.

The video at this juncture has been viewed by 15 million people within a span of three days. Now that’s what you call a viral video! Bermudez has his leg stretched on the dashboard of a car and he recorded the entire video of his muscle cramping up for a good 52 seconds. The video is sure to make you cringe since the calf muscle which contracts and expands is indeed very eerie. Bermudez during the recording exclaims, “this is what a cramp looks like” and he speaks of the pain he is going through.

On one of the comments in his video, Bermudez writes, “Looked like a god d*mn alien in my damn leg was gonna bust out”. As we know, cramps happen when the muscles forcibly contract involuntarily without relaxing. Whereas mild cramps last for a few seconds, severe cramps just like the Bermudez had, may even take hours to relax. This video is worth the watch given the absurd way in which the muscle seems to contract and expand – and no, in case you are still wondering, no alien popped out. Good luck watching the video!
