New York City subway banned the entry of dogs unless they fit inside a bag. While government orders don’t get more surreal than this, it didn’t really deter the hardy and innovative citizens. North America’s largest transportation network, Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) recently implemented a strict policy according to which passengers’ 4-legged best friends could tag along only if they fit inside a bag. While this news might upset a lot of people, dog lovers found an interesting way to take their best friend with them without troubling subway authorities. According to media reports, the rule of the MTA stated- “No person may bring any animal on or into any conveyance or facility unless enclosed in a container and carried in a manner which would not annoy other passengers.”
People did exactly what they were asked to, they carried their dogs with them in their bags. A Twitter user who goes by the name ‘C’ on his social media handle @meanboysclub posted a series of pictures of the New York city people carrying their dogs in their bags – as can be seen in the pictures. Also, since no size of the dogs was specified by the subway authorities, people even carried their big dogs in their bag.

The love for their 4-legged friends made dog owners find a way that not only permitted them to take their dogs with them but also made them follow the rules and regulations of the subway authorities to the hilt. Things really can’t get better than this!
