Pop star Lady Gaga stood outside Trump Tower with a sign “love trumps hate,” a slogan used by the Clinton campaign after Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton to become president elect. The 30-year-old singer, a vocal supporter of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton’s bid for the Oval Office, took to Trump’s landmark building in New York, to let spectators know that she still stands with Clinton, reported Us weekly. Clad in a black pantsuit with an American flag tied to her waist, Gaga looked upset.
“I want to live in a #CountryOfKindness #LoveTrumpsHate. He divided us so carelessly. Let’s take care now of each other,” the “Perfect Illusion” hitmaker wrote on Instagram along with her picture.
As news came down that Trump was going to win the election earlier in the evening, Gaga also tweeted, “Say a prayer for America.”
