In a development that confirms Pakistan’s brutality towards its own people in Balochistan, its forces have conducted the military operation in Goburt area of Mand Balochistan on Monday. As per the statement issued by Baloch Republican Party Spokesperson Sher Mohammad Bugti, the aggression by the military has crossed limits, with homes of civilians being burnt and women dragged out from their homes.
He added that Pakistani forces have launched military operations in Sherani,Hoti, Chattar and adjacent areas of Naseerabad.
A ‘Times Now’ has also confirmed that as many as 21 civilians have been killed by Pakistan forces since last week.
The Balochistan issue has drawn attention much more than earlier in India since Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech in his Independence Day speech in which he had thanked the Baloch people for showering their respect for him.
Since Narendra Modi’s reference to them, the Baloch community in Pakistan has renewed their campaign to bring to light the human right violations in the province.
Critics felt that with the PM’s statement, India’s support for the Parliament cause has come out in the open, which was a change in India’s stand compared to earlier times when India did not speak openly on the issue. They say that India is showing support for Bolochistan to counter Pakistan, which interfering in India’s internal affairs in Jammu and Kashmir.
