Pakistan Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday hinted that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s cabinet might even consider selling of ‘nuclear knowledge’ to overcome financial crisis being faced by the country. Some recent reports in the Pakistani media also said the government has, after motorway and airports, decided to mortgage PTV and Radio Pakistan buildings in order to secure loans.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, the Pakistani Interior Minister said, “Someday I call one of you my friend and suppose tell you that a meeting has been conducted and it has been decided that Pakistan is under huge economic crunch and will so sell its nuclear knowledge; so, now you tell me, you are a journalist, but you are a Pakistani too, wouldn’t you be able to understand that what could be the implications for Pakistan if I publish this news?”

He drew this parallel in a bid to justify putting Dawn journalist Cyril Almeida on the Exit Control List (ECL).

The Pakistan Government a couple of days back put Almeida on the ECL after the Dawn published a report, denied by authorities, by him about an alleged rift between the country’s powerful military and its government.

During the conference, Khan also said, “An attempt has been made to adversely impact a critical national security paradigm, so there should be an inquiry… Indian media used the report, saying that publication of the story verifies the Indian narrative of Pakistani dealings with non-state actors.”

Beggars don't deserve nuclear weapons. Even the one's they have are because of begging China for them. The entire international community should get together & denuclearize this dangerous country. These are people who will sell their Mother and Gmother for money from foreigners, nuclear weapons are a no-brainier to sell for them if they get money in return. They should be treated as beggars , not like a spoilt brat with delusions of geur.

Well, someone daredto say the truth through Dawn and it has been labelled as critical infotmation rather than as facts. I think that the interior minister just voiced out what was there in the minds of the government. More importantly, the minister or anyone in stan for that matter is not even asking why Nawaz Sharif was buying Gucci shoes in London last month although the country's economy is undergoing such a crisis? Where did that money come from? Possibly from the loans taken previously? And they want Kashmir to be an addition to their poor state? Modi rightly said in his Kozhikode speech that stan needs to look at itself first before talking about Kashmir or India. Its ornamental government is there only to makr stupid speeches and an army that fakes its principles, while a vast resource of terrorists, unemplo youth of the nation in other words, who can only fire at India to make some decent money. Their freedom is pointless, since all they have been doing is generating more potion that kills and gets killed. Surprisingly, I wonder wherefrom the ministry of foreign affairs of stan gets money for its frequent foreign trips post the Indian surgical strikes. And more interesting is a public that is completely blind to the lavish spendings of the government in playing ridiculous politics overseas while they themselves suffer under a poor economy. With this they want to destroy India as well. Such a waste of common sense!
