Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi trained his guns on Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying he is surprised to see how swiftly public anger has grown against the BJP government at the Centre and in Maharashtra. He brought the deadlock on the BJP’s ambitious indirect tax reform – the GST bill, back into focus saying the Congress will not relent unless the ruling party accepts its demands for tweaks in the proposed legislation. Rahul Gandhi is in Mumbai as part of a two day tour out west.
