Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 332.85 points down to stand at 19,309.90. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 95.30 points down to stand at 5,847.75. Videocon Industries Ltd. and CRISIL Ltd. were among the top gainers with an increase of 5.05percent and 2.20percent along with Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. and Piramal Enterprises Ltd. with an increase of 1.56percent and 1.32percent respectively, while the top losers include Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd. and Sun TV Network Ltd. with a decrease of 7.52percent and 7.07percent along with United Breweries Ltd. and Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd. with a decrease 6.35percent and 5.17percent at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 184.71 points at 10,739.63, while the banking sector is down 375.82 points at 13,813.04 and the realty sector is down 53.00 points at 2,081.64. The Indian currency is down 0.85 percent at Rs 54.53 per dollar.
