Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 94.58 points down to stand at 19932.03. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 36.65 points down to stand at 6018.65. Jaypee Infratech Ltd. and Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. were among the top gainers with an increase of 3.09percent and 2.59percent along with Tech Mahindra Ltd. and Hindustan Unilever Ltd. with an increase of 2.26percent and 1.91percent respectively, while the top losers include Housing Development and Infrastructure Ltd. and IVRCL Ltd. with a decrease of 23.69percent and 21.02percent along with Hexaware Technologies Ltd. and Reliance Communications Ltd. with a decrease of 12.22percent and 8.97percent at the close of the markets. The Indian currency is 0.13percent down at Rs 53.74 per dollar.
