Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 139.34 points down to stand at 19,962.48. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 33.80 points down to stand at 6,048.50. Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd. and CRISIL Ltd. were among the top gainers with an increase of 10.18% and 2.84% along with Asian Paints Ltd. and ACC Ltd. with an increase of 2.40% and 1.85% respectively, while the top losers include Housing Development and Infrastructure Ltd. and Hindustan Unilever Ltd. with a decrease of 6.33% and 5.41% along with Opto Circuits (India) Ltd. and GAIL (India) Ltd. with a decrease of 4.74% and 4.70% at the close of the markets. The Indian currency is 0.23 % up at Rs 53.70 per dollar.
