India hosted the first ever stand-alone meeting of the National Security Advisors of all the BRICS nations today in New Delhi to outline the rapidly growing synergy between the member nations. The current meeting is expected to serve as farewell to Dai Bingguo, the Chinese Security Advisor, who would step down from his post in the coming months. Dai is expected to also hold bilateral talks with his Indian counterpart, Shiv Shankar Menon to improve relations between the two countries. Brazil, Russia, India China and South Africa came together to form the BRICS nations.
