Trading at the Bombay stock exchange today closed 47.59 points down to stand at 19,339.55 At the National Stock exchange the Nifty closed 18.00 points down to stand at 5888.80. Mahindra Satyam ltd and Jet Airways (India) Ltd were among the top gainers with an increase of 6.36 % and 5.12 %, along with Bharat Forge Ltd and IPCA laboratories Ltd with an increase of 4.91 % and 4.32 % respectively, while the top losers include Piramal Enterprises and Gitanjali Gems ltd with a decrease of 5.70 % and 4.28 % along with JSW Energy Ltd and Gujarat Minerals Development corporation ltd with a decrease of 4.21 % and 3.90 % at the close of the markets. The Indian currency is up 0.09 % at 54.21 Rs per dollar.
