'Economic growth to be higher than 5.5%'

Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission, Montek Singh Ahluwalia has hoped that the growth in the second half of the financial year would be higher than 5.5 percent and said that the deceleration in growth has bottomed out. Addressing the mediapersons at the Confederation of Indian Industry conclave in Gurgaon today, Ahluwalia also said that National Investment Board (NIB) proposal would be processed in the near future and it would go to the cabinet.
